The buildings opened originally as Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in

1938. It was the home of making the sweet syrup for coca cola’s, bottling them, and distributing across East Alabama and West Georgia. Renovations to transform the 33,000 sq ft. property into Event Center Downtown began in 2009 opening of Phase 1 in 2010. The originality is a main feature, while trying to keep the authenticity of the buildings, salvaging, and reusing materials. Some of the unique features are original hardwood floors, concrete floors, exposed brick, copper, exposed beams, structural joists, and light fixtures. The property certainly has a unique charm and elegance combined with memories from an extended history.
