The Live Site,Millennium PlaceLondon 2012's Live Sites are aunique and lasting part of theOlympic Games. Using big screensand event spaces, Live Sites spreadthe Olympic message across thenation with live information, news,video and community events.

Coventry is one of 22 Live Sitesacross the UK which will contributeto the legacy of London 2012.Coventry's Live Site is in the hub ofthe city centre, next to CoventryTransport Museum, where peoplecan watch live coverage of theaction from the Olympic andParalympic Games throughout thesummer and help support Team GB as a nation.

The public can gather together andwitness major local, national andinternational sporting and culturalevents. With this in mind we haveselected a programme of events tomake the most out of this specialyear, including sporting and culturalevents at the Live Site in MillenniumPlace and Broadgate.

The Live Site is a partnershipbetween the BBC, London 2012 andCoventry City Council.

Olympic FootballTwelve games of Olympic Football take place over eight days in July and August at the City of CoventryStadium, including the Women'sQuarter Final and Bronze medal matches.

With the first match taking place on 25 July between Japan and Canada,the city is proud to be welcoming 14countries from all over the world.
