What’s Next Club, Wednesday, Feb 25, 10am, Helen LeMay Room - The What’s Next Club is for anyone who may be dealing with a loss, recent or past. Losses occur at every stage in life, particularly in our later years. The loss of a loved one is always difficult, as are many other losses that are experienced as we age, such as

Don’t forget the loss of vision, hearing or memory problems; a spouse with dementia, or the inability to complete activities of daily living due to medical issues. All of these losses can cause depression, fear, anger, guilt and confusion. Our group is here to help you figure out what to do next – how to move forward – sometimes just one step at a time. Reid Pharmacy - The fax number for the Reid Pharmacy is 671-6486. Please provide this number to your civilian Primary Care Physician (PCP) if he/she is faxing a prescription to be filled at the Reid Pharmacy. If your Primary Care Physician (PCP) is a military physician, and a new prescription is being ordered, please contact our office so we can notify the pharmacy staff.

Medications entered by a military physician are considered Physician Order Entries (POEs) and will remain in suspense until notification is made of the entry.

BST West Medication Pick-Up Times – Medications, picked up at Reid Pharmacy and HEB Pharmacy (Valley Hi location only), are available for pick up in the Wellness Center from 1pm-4pm, Monday-Friday.

Pilates/Just Stretch - This class is a mind body experience designed to condition and stabilize your core muscles. Other benefits include increased flexibility, coordination, balance, stabilization, relaxation and body alignment. All exercises are performed on the floor with a mat.

Thursday, Apr 9, Aetna Fun Walk & Senior Games Opening Ceremony - The walk will be held at O.P. Schnabel Park. There are two walk options - 2 miles on the trails or a 1 mile smooth surface option. The fee is only $5 per person and the first 300 to register are guaranteed the official walk t-shirt. Opening

Wednesday, Feb 25, 10am OASIS Class, Introduction to Laughter Yoga, BST East CC2,3 - Dr. Raymond Troxler. Most of us have seen the phrase “Laughter is the Best Medicine” in Readers Digest and then just read the funny story. It turns out medical experiments have shown that artificial laughter can be induced in a group by a special Yoga technique developed by an Indian physician, Madan Kataria. land that is now known as Texas. Forts were used to control geographic spaces and possession of the land was claimed and disputed by indigenes people and several colonial powers for many years. Control of resources was the central reason for building forts, as well as protection from marauding settlers.
