*ComparativesWe use comparative adjectives and adverbs to compare two things.
• If the Adjective has 1 syllable: Add an “er” (cheap = cheaper)
• If the Adjective has 2 syllables AND ends in a “y”: Add “ier” (happy = happier)
• If the Adjective has 2, 3, 4 or 5 syllables: Add “More” / “Less”
(expensive = more/less expensive)
