WW1 was a total war• People lived and worked for the needs of the
war
• The industry adjusted to the war conditions and its needs.

They were short on work force
• They hired women, youngsters and imported work force.

• They were short on basic food so they placed rationalisation of groceries and fuel.
• People got a certain amount of food and other supplies.

Propaganda
• Posters were the most efficient thing in propaganda.
• Propaganda was trying to get people amused about the war and convince them about reality for political reasons.

• With censorship they tried to influence the public opinion and the ethic of people.
