First thing I added is the graphic feature. This gives the magazine cover identity and judges how popular the magazine will be.

I looked into names for my magazine and these are the outcome:This MusicWhat’s PopCatch itMusic MattersOh Yes!

I have chosen ‘Catch It’ because unlike the others it is an order and I believe this is more powerful when competing for sales in a market.

I liked the look of this font called Ringbearer but when trying to fit it on my front page it would have to streatch to fill the width then it started looking wonky and off and looked nothing like I intended. Moved onto another font.

Because the dress is green I thought if I tried a green masthead it may be a theme, once I placed it on the piece I could immediately see too much green and it was too over powering. The red I experimented with looked too achy and didn’t work. Then I tried a bright blue and it stood out with the rest of the cover. The font is called Big Bloke.

Price, issue number and release date is essential to the cover of any magazine, I chose a simple black colour and the font Agate and made my own barcode using barcodesinc.com/generator/index.php

This font is called Learning Curve. I have chosen this because it looked more like a handwriting than a made up font and I think this makes it look more personal and relatable to readers rather than regular ones that can only be printed.

I also need some sell lines for the front cover with influence from other music magazines that can be included in my contents page list. I have kept the font type consistent to look professional as I have looked at other magazine covers and can relate to this. I have made this sell line different colours because all black glow looks plain and mono.

I have used the speech bubble to indicate a gossip feature as it gives something for the readers to chat about.
