• Designed to connect Bandung AI3 partners• Leased line was expensive• No ISDN at that time
• Begin with 802.11 (no a,b,g and such!)• In frequency 900 MHz• Using KarlBridge• Later migrating to 2.4 GHz• Using FreeBSD PC Router with ISA 802.11b/g card

• Located in 9th Floor PAU-ITB
Meanwhile …
• We build campus backbone• Stitching most of our buildings• 10Base[5,2,T]• It was 1996 to 2000
• And we migrate it to Gigabit• To all of our building• 1000BaseLX as backbone• 100BaseT to desktop
