Producer- Andrew MacDonald-AndrewMacDonaldis a Scottish film producer, best known for his collaborations withscreenwriter John Hodge and director Danny Boyle. Some of his past films include: Train Spotting, 28 days later and Dredd. Allon Reich-Allon Reich is an English producer that works closely with Andrew MacDonald being the producing partners of their own production company DNA films.The production companies that made the film are DNA Films, known for movies such as 28 Days Later and Dredd. Also, Film4 Productions, known for Slow West and Slumdog Millionaire.

Director- Alex Garland directed Ex Machina, as well as films such as Sunshine, The Beach & 28 Days Later.

Screen writer- Alexander Medawar Garland is an English novelist, screenwriter, film producer and director. Some previous films he has written are: 28 days later, Dredd and Sunshine.

Actors- Alicia Vikander,recently starring in The Man From U.N.C.L.E and Testament Of Youth.Domnhall Gleeson, who has starred in About Time and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.Oscar Isaac, also starring in Star Wars: The force Awakens.Corey Johnson, who was previously in Kingsman and Captain Phillip.Sonoya Mizuno, later starring in La La Land.

Budget- The budget for this film was $15 million.

Box Office- This film made $36.9 million at the box office, which was a $21.9 million profit if they stuck to their budget.

Marketing- The marketing team of the film used tinder as a main feature in the marketing process, they intelligently made an account for the robot Ava from the film, which made a big impact all over America, and increased the overall recognition of the film. The marketing team also released a 2-minute teaser trailer, which Is long for a teaser trailer as they are usually only 30 seconds long, so this teaser would show the audience more of the film to try and intrigue them even more. They also produced a TV spot advert that was 33 seconds long which was broadcast in America.

SFX- Over 8oo visual effect shots were used in the making of this film, and over 350 of them wee used just for the robots involved in the film. It was the first film Andrew and Allon had ever produced where not one green screen was used, as they wanted to focus on the conversations between characters rather then the special effects. The face, feet and hands of the robot were photographic in 99 percent of the shots.
