Purpose of Plan
Todays rapidly changing environment requires corporations to develop and adopt a minimum set of management controls and measures to protect their facilities, employees, products and brand. In order to be effective, these management controls must reflect the environment by which they will operate and must provide a reasonable and acceptable level of security and safety. This Food Defense Plan comprises elements surrounding our plant operations, protocols, and procedures, and shall serve as the official Food Defense Plan for INSERT COMPANY NAME. Further, this plan shall be reviewed biannually, or as changes occur and necessitate updates with the plan. Updates should be tracked on a change log in the back of the manual, with revision numbers and effective dates amended in the appropriate section as changes are made. This Plan is developed to provide systematic information essential for the continued operations of INSERT COMPANY NAME in the case of a crisis or emergency situation/incident involving any and all elements of our operations and business. Further, the goal of this Plan is to enable INSERT COMPANY NAME to prevent, detect, respond to, and reconstitute rapidly in the event of a crisis or emergency situation at our facility located at INSERT ADDRESS. Additionally, this Plan provides emergency contact information in the federal, state, and local governments, and also in private industry.
