Think of your résumé as your personal sales brochure

Develop a personal objective that highlights specifically what you are looking to do and also gives a brief summary of who you are and what you bring to the table
Your prior experience is more than what you were responsible for but it is what you delivered
Use a bullet format to show your results
Use numbers and percentages as much as possible
Chronological résumé's are the most common however at times a functional résumé may be more effective
If possible never have a résumé that is longer than two pages
If you are having trouble with developing a great résumé, then get some help
