Mr. Schaefer is responsible for Tishman Speyer’s global Corporate Outreach efforts and also leads Leasing and Asset Management activities in the Boston area. Since 2014, he has led the global leasing and business development efforts, managing the firm’s relationships with corporate real estate executives. Within the Boston office, Mr. Schaefer is responsible for the leasing of Class A office space in Boston’s Financial District. He joined Tishman Speyer in 2001, working in the Property Management group in Chicago. In 2003, he transitioned into Leasing and contributed to the dramatic growth of the firm’s Chicago portfolio and was responsible for several key properties, including 10 and 30 South Wacker Drive, 125 South Wacker and 525 West Monroe Street. Prior to joining to Tishman Speyer, Mr. Schaefer was with the John Buck Company and before that was with Heitman Capital Management. He is on the Executive Committee of the Commercial Brokers Association of Boston and a member of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay Real Estate and Building Industry Leadership Breakfast Committee. Mr. Schaefer has a BA from DePauw University.
