Our understanding of your company comes from information provided to us by your office. We do have good overall view of its operations, its structure and issues. We do however recognize that we will still have a lot to learn about you and will focus on obtaining an in-depth knowledge, if appointed. This will enable us not only provide you routine legal services but also be your strategic business advisors and partners.

Your requirements Our response

•A focused legal analysis of the company

The Directors expect an effective external legal consultant for the company. We will give an opinion on all the legal requirements and statutory legal compliance for the company.

•Our legal approach will be conducted in accordance with the practice and procedure of all applicable laws within our country. Our legal approach will cover all contracts prepared by the company and issue our legal opinion.

•A value added legal consultant: As directors you will require feedback from the legal process in respect of recommendation for improvement to the company’s overall governance and systems of internal controls

• While the legal analysis is not specifically designed to identify all weakness in governance matters, we shall communicate to you in writing through our management report, any recommendations for improvements that come to our notice in the process of carrying out our normal legal procedures. This will involve reviewing the contractual systems with a view to assessing and testing the controls so that the extent of reliance on these controls can be determined.

• Commercial understanding of the business: As advocates the directors will expect the team to understand the commercial aspects of the business so as to provide value added advice on various aspects that emanate from the legal perspective.
