Filtermist’s best ever year

Filtermist International is to double the size of its Shropshire, UK manufacturing facility following the company’s most successful year in its 26 year history.

Work is underway on a new 8000 square foot assembly unit, which will boost manufacturing capacity for its Filtermist mechanical oil mist filters by 80%, following a 12 month period that has seen combined UK and overseas sales increase by some 37%.

Cross Manufacturing Co. (1938) Ltd has won an order valued at f2/, million for high performance water filtration equipment to be installed for the Channel Tunnel.

The order, placed by Trans Manche Link, involves a total of twenty-two automatic self-cleaning on- line filtration plants to protect pumping and refrigeration equipment in the tunnel’s air conditioning chilled water circuits.
