speakers for certain speech program.

Ice Breaking Activities – Day 1

Two Truths And A Lie

Purpose:Encourage bonding and communication.Method:Every Team will write 2 truths and 1 lie.Share among the participants.Repeat the 3 statements, groups vote which is the lie.Learning Outcome:Better communication among co-workers and know each other better.

Purpose:Encourage creative thinking and have fun.Method:A napkin given to each group.Each person need to stand and demonstrate the use of napkin creatively.Cant speak and must stand to demonstrate.Learning Outcome:Better communication among co-workers, experience different ways to solve problems and use resources effectively.

The Game of Possibilities Painting A Picture

Purpose:Encourage communication, creative thinking and have fun.Method:Teams will be asked to paint a picture using chin, elbow and nose. (Mountains, birds, sun, clouds, water, boat and people)Learning Outcome:Think out of the box.Motivated to take challenges at workplace and stay positive minded..

The Hurricane Game and Broken SquareThe Diversity Tree

Purpose:To value and respect diversity at workplace.Method:On a flip chart, each team need to draw a tree with names of the members.Every member need to write encouraging messages on the tree.Learning Outcome:Instill mutual respect, recognition and positive thoughts among the team members.

Purpose:Encourage teamwork and sharing of information.Method:Shown 25 items and need to memorize.Square puzzle will be distributed and will be jumbled. Teams need to solve the puzzles without talking.Learning Outcome:Strategize and plan work.Teamwork, support each other and ensure objectives met.

participants.• Instructor learns what was important to the group

and how much retained after the activities.

Purpose:• To stress free, feel happy, encourage

• Every team will choose one member and the member will secretly write down TWO truths and ONE lie of themselves, on a small piece of paper.

• Allow 10-15 minutes of open conversation among all groups.

• Repeat the THREE statements to everyone and each group will vote on which statement is the LIE.
