Support Your Museum …

… in appreciation!

This summer the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority made a historic investment in nine arts and cultural venues identified as the community’s Lead Assets. The expERIEnce Children’s Museum is honored to be named one of the Lead Assets and will use the funding to continue to enhance exhibits, programming and services that enrich the lives of children and families throughout the region.

The first event of its kind for our community. August 2nd was a remarkable day for philan-thropy in Erie! Thank you to the Erie Community Foundation for hosting this special online event in celebration of its 75th

Anniversary, and matching a portion of all chari-table gifts made through the program! Thank you to General Electric Transportation for giving so generously to the match pool.

And THANK YOU to the dozens of individuals who chose to direct a gift to expERIEnce Children’s Museum!

The Museum received more than $1,100 and made many new friends through this event!

In pursuit of her Gold Award in Girl Scouting, Bronte Seath, researched, planned and created an educational Butterfly Garden area in the Museum’s outdoor courtyard. The project included a weather-resistant display of the monarch life cycle, ground plantings to invite the monarchs, a mulch walkway with stepping stones made by her troop #30421, and the compilation of an educational binder.

New lobby mural

Local artist Ehren Knapp recently painted a glass mural for the Museum! Not only does this colorful mural add a sense of playfulness to the Museum’s lobby, its two-way design also brightens the first floor gallery!

… and leave Handprints in Time!A Good Family Gift for the HolidaysFor a $100 donation, your child can design a unique 6” x 6” ceramic tile that will become a permanent part of expERIEnce Children’s Museum!

Your tax-deductible gift supports the expERIEnce Children’s Museum and helps us continue providing unforgettable learning experiences for Erie’s children and families. Tiles are limited, so ask how you can get yours today.
