    Day 02 To Misty Munnar

    Will start to Munnar which will take around 4 Hours. Enjoy the scenic route winding through tea

    estates , rubber plantations and Water falls and Karadippara View Point .

    On the way we will cover Neriyamangalam Bridge, Rubber Plantations , Cheeyappara, Valara, Kallar

    Waterfalls. Check out Pothamedu View Point details below.

    Pothamedu View Point

    Pothamedu View Point is one of the magnificent view points, which gives an excellent panoramic

    view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in the valley.

    Day 03 - Munnar Sight Seeing Day

    Start early to Top station . (For the best views we havetovisitearly in the morning before the mist

    builds ups).Top Station offer great views of theWestern Ghats. Top station is the "top"-tourist

    attraction. This place gives a real 'above the clouds' experience. Top Station is situated about 1700 m

    above sea level at about 41 km from Munnar town, on Munnar Kodaikanal road. Top Station is a

    favorite spot for many, as it provides a panoramic view of Munnar and surrounding areas. As Munnar

    has a varying altitude of 1500 - 2450 m above sea level, it appears mostly as a green carpet from Top

    Station

    Kundala Lake: Kundala Lake and its surrounding area offer a calm and quiet atmosphere with quiet

    natural beauty. Beautiful Kashmiri Shikkara boats, pedal boats and row boats are available on rent.

    Boating in this dam is an experience beyond words. (25Km)

  • Mattupetty Dam: Is a storage masonry dam built in the mountains of Kerala. The District Tourism

    Promotion Council (DTPC), Idukki provides boating facilities in the Mattupetty Dam. Speed launch,

    slow speedboat and motorboats are available on hire. (11 kms)

    Echo Point: It also offers panoramic views. An excellent place, especially for young travelers to

    disembark for a while and yell out and listen to your own voice coming back to you! (17 Km)

    Photo Point : Photo Point is a popular destination situated at about 3 Km away from the town of

    Munnar. This picnic spot, located on the way to Mattupetty, is an ideal place for photography. Dense

    tea plantations, woods like silver oaks, small rivulets and rolling hills make this place ideal for

    photography.

    Nyayamakad Waterfalls: Located between Munnar and Rajamala, Nyayamakad is a land of

    breathtaking waterfalls. The waters cascade down a hill from a height of about 1600 meters. The

    enchanting surroundings make an excellent picnic spot and trekking point. (8 Km)

    Head to Tata Tea Museum

    Tata Tea Museum is a popular tourist spot situated in Munnar of Kerala. It is situated at a distance of

    about 12 km from Munnar town at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea. The history of Munnar is

    connected to tea plantations for over a century. Munnar is home to a few of the Worlds best tea

    estates. Tata Tea Museum portrays the genesis and evolution of tea plantations of Munnar. Tourists

    can also learn about the different varieties of tea while visiting the demonstration room for tea

    testing.

  • Day 04 To the land of backwaters (Alleppey/Kumarakom)

    Will check out from the resort in the morning and will start to Alleppey or Kumarakom to enjoy the

    backwater beauty. Check in to the Lemon Tree Vembanad lake resort and relax enjoying the beauty

    of the real kerala village life and the backwater ripples.

    Day 05 Enjoy the Houseboat cruise

    The journey is at a leisurely pace and is a great way to explore the area and life of the people who

    live beside the backwaters. Children running to school, women walking to the local market, men and

    women working in the paddy fields, country boats carrying items of daily use and Cormorants

    sunbathing are all common vistas set against a verdant, palm fringed topography, making this a

  • journey of a lifetime.

    Houseboat Travel Information

    Check in to the A/C luxury houseboat at 12pm.

    Take a wonderful journey by experiencing the beauty of the Kerala backwaters for 22 hours.

    Houseboat specification: 1 bed room with attached bathroom, furnished hall, 1 kitchen, TV with

    DTH connection, DVD player.

    Delicious meals will be provided in the houseboat. Food will be arranged for lunch, snacks, dinner,

    breakfast. A/C will be provided during night only from 9 in the night.
