ANSWERS TO POST-LAB QUESTIONS
1. An arrow which was shot horizontally traveled a horizontal distance of 20m before hitting the ground. How high from the ground was the arrow released?
2. In his frustration, Jimmy Alapag threw the ball with a velocity of 20m/s at an angle of 45 degrees above the horizontal. What was the maximum range that the ball reached?
CONCLUSION
We therefore conclude that we are able to know the relationship of the horizontal and vertical motion of the projectile motion. Horizontal motion is a uniform velocity motion because it is not affected by any force. The vertical motion is affected by the gravitational pull of the earth.
