RURAL TRAILS Belleville is the gateway to recreational trails! Our section of the Trans Canada Trail enters near Corbyville and follows north to Stirling. The trail is 23.5 km in length and provides opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, ATVing and snowmobiling. The Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance maintains trail networks spreading from the Bay of Quinte all the way north to Algonquin Park. Zwick’s Park plays host to a number of events and activities throughout the year. This popular trail will take you to picnic areas, playgrounds, groomed sports fields and peaceful rest stops. For those who enjoy a social experience with their dog, visit the Quinte Dog Park at East Zwick’s Park – a three acre fenced park for your four legged friends! QUINTE CONSERVATION POTTERS CREEK The home base for Quinte Conservation administrative office, Potters Creek offers natural trails that wind through a former farm, past fragrant orchards, open meadows and scenic woodlands. The mouth of Potters Creek opens into the Bay of Quinte – a popular starting point for canoeing, kayaking and windsurfing. The perfect spot to enjoy a stroll and stop for a picnic. H.R. BIKE STATIONSThe City of Belleville is pleased to announce the placement of three bike stations for cyclists along the City trails. Each station is equipped with common bike repair tools including a bicycle pump as well as instructions on how they can be used.

The bike stations can be found at the following three locations:

1. Jane Forrester Park by the Bayshore Trail

2. Riverfront Trail by the pedestrian bridge on Station Street by Lions Park

3. Riverside Park (Moira Street East) near the canteen and splash pad

The stations are sponsored by the City of Belleville, Cross Border Solutions Inc. and the Brake Room.
