Simple Task

You're going about your day and feel like doing a random act of kindness. You want to find an

activity you can do right away. Use the app to find a suggestion for a random act of kindness

that appeals to you.

• Still a main function of application

Moderate Task

You had plans for an evening later this week that just fell through. You are free for a couple of hours after 5:00pm on March 14th, but need to stay in Seattle. Sign up for an event that's

happening then.

Complex TaskYou’re organizing a walk for breast cancer for this Saturday, April 28th 2012, and you’re still searching for people to join. The event will be

held at Seattle Center and is sponsored by QFC. It starts at 10:00 am and ends at 4:00pm.

• Success rates of tasks were similar, regardless of difficulty/complexity

• User certainty of success did not correlate with task difficulty/complexity

• Some users felt there were too many screens they had to click through
