BAPTISM & PICNIC AT FORT MONROE Come celebrate with those being baptized today at 5PM at Ft. Monroe beach. Potluck to follow at Picnic Shelter #5 (the corner of Fenwick Road & Gulick Drive). PCC will supply the hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and paper products; last names A-L: bring a side dish or salad; M-Z: bring a dessert (enough to feed 8-10 people). There will also be activities and games for the kids and volleyball for the adults. We look forward to seeing you there! TODD JOHNSON GUEST SPEAKER Professor Todd Johnson (Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary), church historian and a leading missiologist, is PCC’s guest speaker today. For many years, God has used Todd to capture our hearts and minds for the unreached of the world. Visit http://bit.ly/1e69y8n for more information about Todd. We are grateful to have this amazing speaker with us! MISSIONS TRENDS SEMINAR Professor Todd Johnson will deliver a special message on Missions Trends, how God is growing His Kingdom and how the church is responding Monday, June 29 at 7PM in Hall B. Dessert and coffee will be offered (childcare also provided). Please RSVP online at: http://bit.ly/1f5m9Jh by tonight. DAY OF PRAYER & FASTING Join us Wednesday, July 1 for our monthly Day of Prayer & Fasting, as we skip one or more meals and spend that time in prayer. Pray specifically for Christians to be leaders in racial reconciliation in our country. Ask God how He will use you to reach out and make a difference; to help you see where failings may exist and to ask for healing and growth. Ask God to use you to show Christ’s love in a way that has an impact on the world. PENINSULA STUDENT MINISTRIES (7TH-12TH GRADE) Girls’ Hatteras beach trip meeting at PCC today at 4:30PM (depart at 5PM). For details on upcoming PSM events like Serve 757 (Monday, June 29), Water Wednesday (July 1) and Breakfast & Bibles (Thursday, July 2), contact Courtney ([email protected]). MISSIONS LUNCH Join us for a light lunch reception Sunday, July 5 at 12:15PM to meet two Central Asia workers with whom the Chapel has partnered for the last four years. This couple "has what it takes" and we anticipate decades of partnering. Hear about doors God is closing and opening. Contact Mabel Kenney ([email protected]) with any questions. AIDS CAREGIVER KITS At PCC’s next picnic Sunday, July 26, you will have the opportunity to pack kits to serve people suffering with AIDS in Africa, Asia, or Central America (by supplying caregivers with items to help ease that suffering). For $22 each, you can pack a kit that can make the difference in the life of someone with this disease. Please note in order to pack a kit, you must first purchase/reserve your kit(s) at: http://bit.ly/1GL2bN0 by Monday, July 6. KENYA MEDICAL MISSIONS TEAM We are looking for back, neck, shoulder and knee braces to take with us at the end of July. Please contact Janet Schutt ([email protected]) if you have any of these items (or other surplus medical supplies) to donate to this worthy cause.
