Breaks between the new buildings create views through to the square, while a landscaped perimeter softens the scheme’s impact on its neighbours. This will create a unique identity and sense of place within this island site.

While Emerald Gardens is certainly ‘of its time’, it takes its design cues from the rhythm and proportions of grand local buildings such as Syon House, with its ordered, brick facades and clean vertical lines.

BY CAR FROM THE M25

Exit the M25 onto the M4 and merge onto the Great West Rd/A4 and use any lane to take the A315/A4/A205 ramp to Chiswick/Central London/Hammersmith/Kew/Brentford.
