EXV Vaporizing Regulators www.AURACONTROLS.com The AURA EXV provides steady and reliable heat to vaporize and maintain gas phase of samples for analysis. AURA utilizes a proprietary labyrinth-style flow path to ensure full sample vaporization. This keeps the sample in contact with the heated surface for longer as it traces its way through the wide flow path versus a traditional straight flow path design, so sample condensation is minimized as the media travels across the pressure drop of the seat. The EXV’s large orifice seat size and higher wattage heater options operate in combination with the proprietary flow path to enable single phase sampling and high flow rates, making it an ideal fit for heavy hydrocarbon and hydrogen sulfide measurement applications. AURA’s encapsulated seat design consolidates the numerous moving internal components of a standard regulator design into one single piece, allowing for ease of maintenance and minimizing potential failure points. The encapsulated seat is protected by a 10-micron 360° inlet filter that provides significantly more filtration of impurities than the standard pressed in disk and filters damaging particles from all inlet ports rather than just the pipeline port. The EXV is also available with LumiShield™ inert and anti-corrosive technology that provides superior durability versus exotic metals in highly acidic or caustic processes. Produced through the application of a proprietary blend of carbon and silicone that bond with crystal lattice of stainless steel, LumiShield provides a corrosive resistant and inert material of construction.
