Submissions

Please remember that the deadline for Newsletter submissions is the 20th of the month preceding the publication. I have been receiving a great majority of submissions on the last day or two of the month, which causes me to dedicate an enormous amount of time to last minute inclusions. I only mention this as I will not always have the time to add late entries so if your submission is not included in the immediate newsletter, it will be included in the following month’s. Also, if you send in a photo or “piece” of information you would like included, please attach any relevant information as well (e.g., dates, locations, names, etc.). It is hard to track down some of those things and I would like to keep disseminated information as accurate as possible. Fraternally, Howard W. Seibert Cell: (520) 226-1609 Email: [email protected] or [email protected]

What a great time was had by all who attended the 23rd Annual Masonic Widows Luncheon held on Feb 18, 2017. There were 48 Members and Guest in attendance, the food was great (thank you Landmark Café) and our Masonic Youth groups were a big help and stayed busy. The Sunrise Assy #39 Rainbow Girls decorated the tables, the Cochise Chapter #3053 DeMolay Boys escorted our Honored Ladies to their tables as well as presented them with a heart shaped box of candy. Bro. Brian Strecker was presented a beautiful plaque with engraving, honoring him for his hard work and dedication to the DeMolay Chapter. Lady Nancy Montgomery prepared and presented each Honored Lady with a beautiful long stem rose and a very special ballpoint pen. A special bunch of roses was presented to Lady Ethel Erickson who, at 96 years old, is still going strong and has been a member of the Eastern Star since 1946. Thank you Cochise Masonic High Twelve Club #703 for hosting this event. Andrew M. Anderson Jr. 33° Secretary

Next Stated Meeting

The next stated meeting is scheduled for February 1st at 7pm. Dinner will be served at 6pm so please come and enjoy the fellowship. Remember, family is also welcome at these dinners!

Lodge Attendance

If you are traveling from another Jurisdiction or Lodge, or even if you are a member of this lodge and just haven’t been around lately, please stop by for the next meeting. Do NOT let traveling in a foreign jurisdiction or years of being absent keep you from joining us today. If you have a different ritual, or may have forgotten ANY of the masonic teachings, we will gladly assist you. We hope you will join us at our next lodge meeting!

Tuesday practices will continue during July and August!!! We also encourage Lodge Officers who need to be certified by November Lodge elections to consider using this practice time to work on their certification to advance. If Tuesdays won't work call Andy at (520) 234-3225.
