Minnkota WindowsTM isproud to have a NationalFenestration Rating Council(NFRC) certified ratings onall the windows and patiodoors we manufacture.NFRC is a nonprofit,public/private organization created by the window,door, and skylight industry. Its primary goal is toprovide accurate information to measure andcompare the energy performance of windows, doors,and skylights.

Energy performance is measured in U-values. A lowU-factor indicates minimal heat loss, which meansmore energy-efficient windows. U-values should notbe measured at the center of the glass. Center U-value readings are lower than the U-value of theentire window. For an accurate comparison, U-valuemeasurements must be taken over the entirewindow, including the frame.
