The NEWSParent ForumAn incredibly productive Parent Forum meeting was held on 22nd January. These meetings provide a mechanism for the school to discuss proposed initiatives and an opportunity for parents to express their observations, concerns and ideas. Regular, open and constructive communication and consultation with parents is important to the continuing success of the school. The Parent Forum is looking for new members! The Parent Forum consists of parent representatives who meet once every term with representatives from the school to discuss school-related issues. The termly meetings, usually on Mondays, are held at the school from 6pm and last one hour. The next meeting date is on Monday 30th April 2018.Full details and nomination forms will be sent out in book bags next week. Nut PolicyA reminder that we have a number of children in school with severe nut allergies. Therefore, it is very important that no nuts or nut products (peanut butter, nutella etc) are brought into the school. Our school packed lunch guidelines can be found here and some advice on providing healthy packed lunches can be found here.Safer Internet Day

Our Online Safety Ambassadors will be planning activities for the children. As a result of hearing about Safer Internet Day 2017, an evaluation found that the majority of children spoke to their families about staying safe online while 79% felt more confident about what to do about any worries online. As a result of the day, 1 in 4 young people said they spoke up about something that had been worrying them online.
