About the Conference

Anna University of Technology Coimbatore was established in the year 2007 under the Act No. 42 of 2006 by the State Government of TamilNadu, as an affiliating type of University covering 9 districts which includes Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, Erode, Karur, Krishnagiri, Salem, Namakkal, The Nilgris and Tirupur. There are 146 Engineering Colleges including 3 Government colleges and 2 Government Aided colleges and 35 Stand Alone Institutions. Currently, Prof.Dr.K.Karunakaran is the Vice- Chancellor of our University. The academic campus of the University offers 7 UG Courses, 20 PG Courses under full time and part time mode and Ph.D., and M.Tech (By Research) programme in various Engineering, Technology and Management disciplines. Currently 3457 research scholars have registered for pursuing their Doctorate in various disciplines. The Campus of the University is located 25 kms north of Coimbatore and 15kms south of Mettupalayam on Coimbatore to Mettupalayam highway.

University Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering established in the year 2007, with its dedicated body of well qualified faculty, technical staff and students is a multi-disciplinary centre of excellence in the specialization of Power Electronics and Drives, Control and Instrumentation, Electrical Drives and Embedded Control, Power Systems Engineering and Core Electrical Engineering through education, consultancy and research. The Department offers Three Year B.E Programmes and Two Year M.E programmes in Full Time and Part Time. It is well equipped with state – of – the art laboratories to provoke the students and staff community in academic and research activities. The Department actively involves in various research areas which includes Multivariable Control, Linear and Non linear system analysis and design, Evolutionary Strategies, Power Quality, Intelligent Computing Techniques, Virtual Instrumentation and Power Electronics Applications.

The National Conference on Intelligent Computing for Engineering Applications (NCICE 11) will act as a forum for researchers and practitioners working in the development and application of Intelligent Computing Techniques, to share their ideas. It is aimed to throw its light to the state of art of various research observations and results, to communicate the extensive information between academic community and industrial organizations. NCICE 11 paves its way to strengthen the relationships between Companies, Research Laboratories, Universities and Institutions.

The Registration fee should be paid only through demand draft drawn in favour of “EEE Association, Anna University of Technology Coimbatore”, payable at Coimbatore.

Registration fee includes Conference kit, a copy of the proceedings and food. However, accompanying guests cannot avail the conference kit and the copy of the proceedings.
