Risks of Facelift Surgery

Adverse Reaction to Anesthesia – there are patients who experience nausea and sickness after receiving the anesthesia. This is a temporary side effect and will go away after a few hours

Bleeding and Hematoma – if there is bleeding under the skin, a hematoma can develop. This will leave the area swollen and painful. Another operation is required in order to stop the bleeding and remove the blood

Infection – infections can occur in specific areas although they are quite rare. In order to mitigate the risk of infections, surgeons will give you antibiotics before, during, and after the surgery
