FACEZ through partnering sponsors has effectively expanded
to the Midlands province as well as the Mashonaland province.
We look forward to more expansion as companies assist
children in communities within their vicinity. So far we have
managed to cover and reach out in Harare, Midlands and
Mashonaland East province. We believe with the little steps we
are going nationwide.
FACEZ has increased the number of corporate sponsor partnerships this term by 70%.
We thank God for increase and continue to look forward to many new partners. It is our
goal to attain long term partnerships with 67 corporate organizations in the period
2013/2014 with each company taking a minimum of 3 children; or else the equivalent
value in dollar amount. This will enable us to educate 200 children seeing them through
their entire education through partner commitment. To date we have 65 children in our
tuition support system
Therefore in line with our goal the FACEZ team has
embarked on a intensive corporate outreach strategy
engaging various companies and organizations at events
and meetings. This includes members of motor association
and the rotary club among others where the Founder of
FACEZ was able to gain verbal pledge commitments and
network with various corporate leaders.

With each new corporate partnership FACEZ follows a set
line of activities that give interaction between the corporate
sponsor and the beneficiaries. Included in this process is a
symbolic handover ceremony attended by the company,
the school head and PA members, the beneficiaries -being
children receiving sponsorship and their
parents/guardians.
This term we added in 15 children from MEST Foundation in Melfort
to our support database, courtesy of Peterhouse Financial
Corporation sponsorship. We also have children from Highglen
district Harare; referrals from the Highglen District Education
Officer. We have facilitated for several other once off support
payments to persistent walk-in cases we could not continue to turn
away.
We have found that the level of need is simply overwhelming, we
need Zimbabweans to continue to come together to help our nations
less fortunate. We still have an overwhelming number of pending
tuition support cases that we hope to cater for, hence our outreach
to corporate, organizations and individuals.

Relations Manager, Mrs S Shumba said, “Thumps up to the
FACEZ project which is being spearheaded by young people
towards helping children in difficult circumstances to have
access to education, this is vital for a better future for the
whole country”. Mr Vinod Dhondee AKZL diverted fom his
speech to tell us how touched he was to be able to be part of
what FACEZ is doing and help a community in need. MrGurure
from Aquirium Ltd expressedthe importance of protecting
these children while they are young to avoid them turning
into undesirable individuals later simply because they were
deprived of an education.
It’s never too soon to start your charitable foundation
and begin to build your philanthropic legacy which will
speak into and through the lives of the children you help,
for generations to come.
