    Abstract

    An objective of this research was to investigate factors affecting the adoption system, vendor

    managed inventory of hospitals. The sampling was vendor managed inventory based hospitals Thailand, A

    survey was used in this study. Questionnaires were used to collect data form 288 hospitals. The data

    were analyzed applied descriptive statistics including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation,

    and regression analysis test at a significant level of 0.05.The study shows that the factors affecting vendor

    managed inventory adoption were: the perceived usefulness had influencing on VMI adoption. The

    perceived ease of user and buyer-supplier cooperation had affecting on vendor managed inventory

    adoption. While demand uncertainty was not affecting on vendor managed inventory adoption.

    Suggestions of the way to recognize factors for suitabil ity planning inventory management.
