Would you like to work on all vehicle electrics and air conditioning? Autoelectricians also

work in marine and mining industries

Autoelectricians are specialists in all automotive electrical and airconditioning repairs on a wide range of private

and commercial motor vehicles, EFI Engine Management Systems and 4WD’s.

As a participant in this program you will gain practical knowledge and experience in all forms of automotive electrical troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.

Over the two years you will develop skills that could see you as a prime candidate for an apprenticeship.

This course is ideal for a student who wishes to progress to further study in the Electro Technology arena, providing a foundation for entry to a range of studies in fields such as: Electronics, Electrical, Computer assembly & servicing, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Security & Fire Alarms, Telecommunications, etc.

When you complete the Certificate II in Electronics you’ll be flicking the switch on a career in electronics.

MEM20105 Certificate II Engineering [Fabrication Preapprenticeship]

Graduates can continue their studies in a metal fabrication heavy or light apprenticeship.

Metal fabricators and welders work in a diverse trade, applying a broad range of fabrication

and welding skills to industries including: mechanical and civil engineering, mining

resources sector, heavy haulage and road transport, agriculture machinery,

construction, defence etc.

Pre-apprentices are exposed to the latest technological developments in the fabrication

and welding trade, including computer controlled metal plate cutting equipment.
