We used a Sanskrit word to name our villa because the many translated definitions are so fitting to describe it: welfare, auspicious, beautiful, well,

lovely, excellent, happy, agreeable, right, virtuous, prosperous, illustrious, beneficial, fortunate, good, noble, salutary, lucky, fair, generous, virtue,

festival, good fortune, gold, happiness, wellbeing, heaven, prosperity…

Undeniably beautiful, Villa Kalyana is an exclusive beachfront estate within a private bay on Koh Samui’s idyllic south shore. The lush palm tree

plantation, fringed by the icing sugar sands and clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Siam, set the surroundings for this unforgettable villa.

About Us

The Villa is run like a resort. You will be greeted and picked up at the airport, check in like in a hotel, the Villa manager will introduce you to all

facilities and services and will be present to fulfil all your wishes. We currently have one European on-site manager; Mr. Renaud (Belgian) and a

full-time staff of 17 including:

• 2 Thai villa managers; Sonya and Mam,

• Kitchen team of 4 including Chef Seri,

• 5 housekeepers and 5 gardeners/handymen,

• and Rebecca; our British Villa & Events Manager.

The villa manager supervises Kalyana and brings a great wealth of experience to the position, so all questions or requests are handled quickly from

initial enquiry to check in. The in-villa team lives on-site so always close at hand 24 hours a day. They ensure guests are taken care of always,

make up the rooms unobtrusively and maintain the daily running of the villa.

The private in-house chef serves up Thai and western dishes from an extensive menu. Villa Kalyana provides a comprehensive concierge service

offering advice and bookings to help guests make the most of the island.

In-Villa Services

- Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. and check-out at 10:30 a.m.

- Early arrival and late departure are possible on request and

subject to availability; an additional cost may apply.

Please note that the nightly rates include the following services

- Group airport transfers (One Group Transfer < 14 BR (6+

people = one group) / Two Group Transfers > 14 BR), greeting

service, luggage handling.

- Full time staff of 16 persons + full time chefs to prepare meals

as requested (food cost not included).

- Full cooked American style breakfast (eggs cooked to order).

- Fast Wi-Fi (private fibre-optic line).

- Welcome drinks, cold towels.

- Daily maid service, daily room cleaning.

- English-speaking villa managers.

- Linen and towels (changed every 3 days).

- Sea kayaks (canoes).

- On-site 100 KVA backup generator.

The following services are available, exclusive of the rate

- Laundry service.

- Car rental (1,000 to 2,000 THB per day, depending on the car).

- Van rental (15 seats: 5,000 THB per day incl. driver and diesel;

Half-day up to 4 hrs: 2,500 THB).

- Provisions list and food cost for meals.

- In-villa shopping service: 650 THB or 20% of purchase cost

(subject to 7% VAT).

- Wine, beer and spirits can be arranged (provisions list pre-

arrival is recommended).

- Set-up for party/special event/beach barbecue/poolside dinner.

- Spa treatments (many treatments available in-house, list on

request).

- Yoga, Pilates, private trainer, diving, etc. instructors available.

- Service after or before regular hours (from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00

p.m.).

- Jet-ski rental (5,000 THB per hr. including gasoline).

- Boat rental.

- Snorkelling equipment rental.

- Mountain bike rental.

- Air-conditioned with large LED screen connected to our Apple

TV with hundreds of movies.

- On the beachfront (for treatments or just to relax).

Pool area

- Extensive wooden and marble pool decks with lounge beds and

sunbeds, fresh towels. Two swimming Pools: 300 m2 and 250

m2, with islands and hammocks, kids pool zone (40 cm depth).

- 80 m2 to relax or meet indoors with pool/ billiards.

- Airconditioned for massage treatments.

Private bay and beach

- Expect to be completely alone on our white sandy beach.

Soaked in the lukewarm ocean water. The sea is swimmable,

especially during high tide, at low tide the first 40 meters are

shallow and perfect for kids!
