Please apply as early as possible, to allow enough time to process visa requirements once accepted into the course. Please note: many of our postgraduate courses have a minimum IELTS requirement (usually 6.5 with no band less than 6, or equivalent). Scholarships that are available to applicants from particular countries can be found at http://www.scholarships.uwa.edu.au/search. You must complete your course within the standard full-time completion period, unless certain circumstances apply. You can choose to study part-time in a particular semester, as long as you are allowed by your faculty to overload later, or can catch up by studying Summer School units, if available. Your student visa allows you to work up to a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight during the academic term; and for unlimited periods during vacation periods. All international students must obtain a visa before travelling to Australia. For a full-time course, you will need a student visa which will cover the duration of your academic program. If you have entered Australia on a temporary resident visa or another category of visa that allows you to study, you can enrol to study part-time but you will have to pay the full cost of your tuition before you commence your undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
