Period of study

Type 1.1 and 2.1 - The Program is designed to be 3 academic years and the period of study shall not exceed 6 academic years. Type 1.2 and 2.2 - The Program is designed to be 4 academic years and the period of study shall not exceed 8 academic years. Tuition Fees Foreigner student Type 1.1 and 2.1 600,000 Baht per student (100,000 Baht per semester) Type 1.2 and 2.2 800,000 Baht per student (100,000 Baht per semester) Thai student Type 1.1 and 2.1 150,000 Baht per student (25,000 Baht per semester) Type 1.2 and 2.2 200,000 Baht per student (25,000 Baht per semester)

Student Qualifications 1. Eligible applicants must be holders of a degree of Master of Sciences, master of

Veterinary Science or others that related to Veterinary Sciences with at least 3.50 GPA. (For Type 1.1 and 2.1)

2. Eligible applicants must be holders of a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM.) or equivalent with at least 3.25 GPA. (For Type 1.2 and 2.2)

3. For those who are studying in a curriculum of Master of Sciences in Veterinary Sciences or Master of Veterinary Public health with an outstanding study and/or research profiles are eligible to apply to the Ph.D. program. (For Type 1.2 and 2.2)

4. The applicant must show proficiency in the English language and have at least one of the following qualifications

4.1 TOEFL a minimum of 523 (Paper-based) or 193 (Computer-based) or 69 Internet-based)

4.2 IELTS a minimum of Band 5.5 4.3 CMU-eTEGS a minimum of 65 4.4 CU-TEP a minimum of 65 4.5 TU-GET a minimum of 65 4.6 KU-EPT a minimum of 65

The result of English test must be within 2 years before the application. The applicant is foreign student who use the English language as official language will be approved by the program director or a member of the curriculum’s executive committee.

5. Any other qualifications will be under consideration and consent of the curriculum’s

executive committee.

Academic activities 1. A student has to organize and present a seminar on the topic related to his/her thesis

at least once per semester for at least 5 semesters (Type 1.1) / 7 semester (type 1.2). This requirement is mandatory in semesters with or without registrations of seminar in veterinary science courses and students have to attend seminar every semester throughout the program.

2. The whole or part of the thesis must be published/accepted with the student being the 1st author for at least 2 articles. Among the 2 articles, at least 1 article has to be published in a journal listed in ISI, Scopus, IEEE, PubMed or Web of Science as an original article or a research article. The student must present part of the thesis as a poster or an oral presentation in an international conference at least 1 presentation. The student must provide an evidence to show that he/she was the presentor in that particular conference (Type 1.1). The whole or part of the thesis must be published/accepted with the student being the 1st author for at least 2 articles international journals listed in ISI, Scopus, IEEE, PubMed or Web of Science, and at least 1 article has to be published as an original or a research article. The student must present part of the thesis as a poster or an oral presentation in an international conference at least 1 presentation. The student must provide an evidence to show that he/she was the presentor in that particular conference. (Type 1.2) The whole or part of a thesis must be published/accepted as an original or a research article in an international journal listed in ISI, Scopus, IEEE, PubMed or Web of Science, with the student being the 1st author, for at least 1 article. The student must present part of the thesis as a poster or an oral presentation in an international conference at least 1 presentation. The student must provide an evidence to show that he/she was the presentor in that particular conference. (Type 2.1) The whole or part of the thesis must be published/accepted with the student being the 1st author for at least 2 articles. Among the 2 articles, at least 1 article has to be published as an original article or a research article in an international journal listed in ISI, Scopus, IEEE, PubMed or Web of Science. The student must present part of the thesis as a poster or an oral presentation in an international conference at least 1 presentation. Remark If any journal does not clearly specify “Original article” or “Research article” , the student must submit additional evidence/document/letter from the editor to declair the type of the paper.

3. A student has to report thesis progression to the Graduate School every semester, which

Ratification

1. A student must pass the foreign language requirement as set by the Graduate School. 2. A student must complete the curriculum and meet all requirements set by the study program. 3. A student must have successfully defended a thesis. 4. Earning accumulated grad point average (GPA) of at least 3.00 for all courses taken and a GPA of not less than 3.00 for the chosen of specialization. (Type 2.1 and 2.2)
