Puji dan rasa syukur mendalam penulis panjatkan kehadirat Allah

SWT, karena berkat limpahan rahmat, hidayah, dan inayah-Nya maka

skripsi ini dapat diselesaikan dengan baik. Salam dan sholawat semoga

selalu tercurah pada baginda Rasulullah Muhammad SAW. Skripsi yang

berjudul "Pelaksanaan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Dalam

Mendukung Akreditasi Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta" ini disusun

untuk memenuhi persyaratan kurikulum sarjana strata-1 (S-1) pada

Jurusan Ilmu Administrasi Negara, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Politik,

Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta.

University are increasing and it has great values, as well as Sebelas Maret

University of Surakarta which has recognize it is achievements with an accreditaion of

institution value that has been evaluation by the ministry of National Educatiion

Accreditation Board of University (BAN-PT). It is get a title of superior or score 372/A.

The quality has been known based on the 7 standarts which has different rate.

Management of the good anagement information system should be implementation in

order to maintain it is status as a top university. So the purpose of this research is how

the implementation of management information systems in support accreditation of the

Sebelas Maret Surakarta University.

The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative. The setting is located at

the Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. This source of data is gathered from primary

and secondary data. It has been gathered by interview using purposive, observation, and

documentation samples. The validation of the data can be gathered by using data

triangulation compare with fifnal results of interview between the other observations and

documentations data. Analysis technique data consists of the reduction from the data,

presentation from the data, and describe conclusions and verification.

The results of the study explained that the implementation of the Information

Systems Management at UNS associated with the seventh accreditation standards

implemented on the three highest weight on the standard of the implementation of the

system respectively were in a standard 5 and standard 7 where education is in standard 5

ie Curriculum, Learning and Academic Atmosphere and UNS have SIAKAD system to

manage it. In research and community were in a standard 7 that Research Services /

Community Service, and cooperation UNS has IRIS1103 to study and research, while in

terms of community service UNS has SIKKN. SIAKAD three systems, IRIS1103, and

SIKKN each play a role in the assessment of university accreditation it can be seen from

the aspect Input-Process-Output. In the input process, human resources management of

the system has been their own jobs. Then from user, it can be controlled how the system

is used. For the system of process, it might happen something to know the system from

the data to collection, security, and maintenance system while the output has been known

from the output system which is university’s accreditation score. Nevertheless, there are still several deficient in maximizing the function of the system that need will be repaired

so that the simple mistake, such as error system, update data, improvement of view, and

then the new system for accreditation it will be implementation soon.
