Learn, Grow, and Serve by Becoming a Stephen Minister Do you have gifts for caring, encouragement, and listening? If so, please prayerfully consider becoming a Stephen Minister. Our Stephen Leader, Karen Fitzpatrick, will be training a class of Stephen Ministers beginning January 5, 2020. Stephen Ministers provide emotional and spiritual support and care to people who are going through a difficult time, such as divorce, grief, hospi-talization, unemployment, terminal illness, relocation, chronic illness, or loneliness. If you think you might be interested, or for more information, please visit the Stephen Ministry table in the foyer or contact Karen at [email protected]. Applications accepted through November 10th. Training will begin in January 2020.
Movie Night: Breakthrough
Friday, November 8th 7:00PM in the Annex
Dinner at 5:00PM at Bay Breeze TODAY we will take up a special
contribution for Million Dollar Sunday at Eastern European Missions. Your donations provide funding for Bibles and Bible-based materials, free to all. Please help bring the Good News to Eastern Europe and Beyond.
Oops! Mark Leatherwood’s birthday was accidently left off of the November calendar
last week. It is November 29th.
We served over 120 community guests, despite the rainy conditions, at our Trunk-or-Treat! 72 members were in attendance. Thank you to everyone that planned, set up, cooked and served the meal, decorated and handed out candy, cleaned up, came to the event, and invited friends! We also appreciate the 29 members and guests that participated in the Pumpkin Party last Sunday evening. It was a fun time of fellowship!
During the Sundays this month, add your reasons for being thankful on our
“Why We’re Thankful” posters. They are on a table in the lobby.

Good News from Baxter! Each weekend, students work with a local congre-gation. Yordano is a second-year student from Cuba who works with the congregation in Talanga. He baptized two young people just a few weeks ago. He comments, "The result of evangelism and the work of God, above all, has flourished in these hearts. I only ask that you pray for these young people so that God may lead them to persevere on the path that leads to the salvation of man."
