MONACO YACHT SHOW 2015

Living up to the title as the yachting capital of the world, Fort Lauderdale, Florida will once again play host to the largest boat show in the world running from November 5th - 9th this year. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will cover three million square feet of space both in water and on land. This year Moran Yacht and Ship will be featuring some truly magnificent yachts as well as a collection of sport fishing boats. This is not the year to miss out on attending the premiere boat show in the United States. FORT LAUDERDALE BOAT SHOW 2015

If you want glamour, elegance, and a chance to view some of the most magnificent vessels in the yachting world, then mark your calendars for September 23rd – 26th. The Monaco Yacht Show is a prestigious event for the yachting world, with the latest projects, designs and technologies being unveiled to the public. Over the course of four days, a total of 500 world-leading yachting companies will present to the 34,000 attendees. Moran Yacht & Ship will once again be displaying some of the finest yachts in the show. Past entries have included the 88m Lurssen QUATTROELLE, the 75.4m Lurssen NORTHERN STAR, the 68m Lurssen KISMET, the 46m Hakvoort ALLEGRIA, and the 45m Feadship MADSUMMER among others.

PROJECT SOMETHING COOLProject SOMETHING COOL is a 210 Ft. (64m) Hakvoort for sale exclusively with

Moran Yacht & Ship. The interior, designed by the renowned Sinot Designs, features

a beautiful combination of light and dark woods that interact with metal inlays and

elegant stone work. Her exterior, designed by Horacio Bozzo, has strong lines coupled

with rounded brows and features giving SOMETHING COOL a masculine, but modern

take on the expedition yacht.

This world cruiser is equipped to go anywhere on the globe, and to do it in ultimate

comfort. Her 6,500 nautical mile range gives her trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific

range, while her NAIAD zero speed stabilizers and 38 Ft. (11.6m) beam ensure

a smooth and stable ride. For those times that you need a bit more speed, her

Caterpillar 3512C main engines will allow her to reach a top speed of 15 knots, and her

three full size tenders offer excellent flexibility for toys and equipment.

SOMETHING COOL can accommodate up to 16 people in 8 spacious cabins in

NORTHERN STAR

NORTHERN STAR was designed to cruise all oceans of the world in complete comfort

and security. The owner, an experienced ocean cruising sailor, required top-notch

design and engineering coupled with seagoing comfort for his guests and crew. The

interior, designed by Pauline Nunns, can best be described as a grand country estate.

This traditional styling is complemented perfectly by the bold exterior lines designed

by Espen Oeino. NORTHERN STAR’s 6 decks offer her 12 guests an enormous amount

of space for both entertainment and relaxation. Her massive interior volume gives the

impression that she is much larger than 248 Ft.

NORTHERN STAR is one of only a few quality Northern European built yachts

The magnificent 152 Ft. (46.2m) Hakvoort ALLEGRIA was built at the Havkoort shipyard

in 2004. She sleeps 10/11 guests in 5 staterooms with a convertible gym. Recent upgrades

include new generators, new SAT system and the completion of her 10 year Lloyd’s Survey.

She has been kept in pristine condition by her full time crew of nine..

Launched in 2010, the 92 Ft. (28.04m) Sea Force IX combines proven performance with

a mega yacht finish. She features accommodation for 7 guests in 3 spacious staterooms

and can reach a top speed of 38 knots. Two gyro stabilizers and custom acoustic thermal

insulation allow her to cruise comfortably, quietly and quickly.

FEADSHIP SHIPYARDThere are yachts and there are Feadships!

Feadship Yachts is a combination of two Dutch

shipyards who started independently and joined

together in 1949. The Van Lent and De Vries

families were founders of this venerable shipyard.

The Feadship name comes from an acronym for

the First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders.

Major marketing of Feadship began post World

War II in the United States, where an active market

for pleasure and luxury yachts was emerging.

Feadship produces completely custom

displacement motoryachts, which have ranged

from 70 feet, to their largest to date, the 324

foot MADAME GU. On average five large yachts

are launched annually. The De Vries Shipyard is

located in the town of Aaslmeer, and the Van

Lent shipyard is on Kaag Island. The main design

center, De Voogt Naval Architects, is in Haarlem.

All located within an hour’s drive of Amsterdam.

has been involved in a number of notable projects

with Feadship such as IROQUOIS, BATTERED

BULL, and EXCELLENCE I. Each vessel

maintains the dedication to quality and excellent

craftsmanship that has become a longstanding

tradition for all Feadship vessels. With over

A Tropical Paradise: The Caribbean

Turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and tropical rainforests await visitors
