Regulars Baby Palace8 February, 15 March, 24 MayTake some time to relax in the multi sensory environment and explore smells, sights and senses with your baby at your pace. This is a great chance to meet other new parents and share your experiences. £1 per child per session. Three sessions each day: 10.30-11.30am; 12-1pm; 2-3pm. Please book in advance on 01922 654 400.

Art StartWednesdays 11am – 12noon6 February, 6 March, 1 MayThese are sessions for pre-school children 1 year old upwards with their carers. Come along and explore an artwork in the gallery and make things together to support your child in being creative. £1 per child per session. Please book in advance on 01922 654400, limited places.

Art CartThe Art Cart comes out every weekend and all school holidays to help you explore our collections. It has diff erent free activities and moves somewhere new in the gallery every month.

Frisky BagsThese are rucksacks stuff ed full of activities to help you explore around the gallery together as a family. Ask to borrow one for free from reception. Great for children 6-12 year olds.

Learn to Felt a SheepFriday 5 April Learn about how wool is processed, how to felt some fl eece and make a picture of a sheep from real sheep’s wool.

Body BeautifulFriday 12 AprilLearn how to make a registered 4 colour relief print, using the Hirst exhibition for inspiration.

Friday FunEvery Friday in school holidays are workshops for families with children 4 years and older, who want to be creative together. Its only £2 per child per session to come and join in. Workshops run twice each day, 11-12.30pm and 1-2.30pm. Please book in advance on 01922 654 400 and collect a ticket from reception when you’ve paid.

The gallery has lift access to all fl oors and is buggy friendly, breastfeeding friendly and has babychange facilities on the ground fl oor.

The fi rst Sunday each month is family Sunday. There is a drop in workshop, only £1 per child, with carer, to come and join in. Buy your workshop ticket at the reception desk on the day. Workshops run 1-3pm. These are for all ages, everyone is welcome.

Butterly Flowers7 April, 5 May, 2 JuneCome and plant your own wild fl ower seeds ready to attract the butterfl ies in the summer and make a beautiful butterfl y plant label. Sign up on the day for a butterfl y hunt walk along the canal.

Wallpaper DaySun 3 MarchHave you seen the wallpaper by Hirst? Come along and design your own paper to take home as a card.
