Added Tips for Success Let all members have a chance to choose the books Start small- short sessions, quick books and then build

on that Pair activities with the book- Play the main character’s

favorite game, cook a meal mentioned in the book, go to a (similar) place mentioned in the book, make a snack from some food talked about in the book, draw characters, settings or events from the book

Keep at it- Rome wasn’t built in a day- if it doesn’t seem to be working at first, keep trying- it will catch on if you model it and show enthusiasm for it- kids love to be like you!
