General Information

Date of Family Weekend: September 12 – 14, 2014

Attendance: Approximately 2,600 people

Planning Committee: ROTC, Library, Campus Recreation, Office of Student Engagement, Student Activities Council, Event & Meeting Services, Housing & Dining Services, Career Center, Alumni Association, Bookstore, and the Athletics Department.

Planned in conjunction with the first home football game

Program Overview & Mission

Overview: Family Weekend 2014 is a program designed by the Missouri State University Family Association to help families reconnect with their student(s), engage with other families, and show their Missouri State pride.

Mission: The ultimate mission of the weekend is to provide parents and family member’s the opportunity to become better educated on what their student(s) are involved with on campus and engage with the campus community.
