Michelangelos Significant ContributionsMichelangelo was known for painting the roof of the Sistine Chapel in Rome. This process took him four years to complete. Another Significant Contribution of MichelangeloMichelangelo was commissioned to do a tomb for the Pope in Rome, Italy by Julius II in 1503.
