Madhubani Paintings Madhubani painting also known as Mithila painting is an Indian painting style practiced in the Mithila region of Bihar, India, and the adjoining parts of Terai region in Nepal. Painting is done with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using natural dyes and pigments. 13. Canvas Paintings Canvas is a common support medium for oil painting, replacing wooden panels. Canvas is typically stretched across a wooden frame called a stretcher, and may be coated with gesso before it is to be used. 14. Acrylic Paintings Acrylic painting is fast-drying paint containing pigment suspension in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints can be diluted with water, but become water-resistant when dry. 15. Oil Paintings Oil painting is one of the processes of painting with pigments that are bound with a medium of dried oil. Paintings include landscapes and figurative work. 16. Ajanta Paintings Ajanta paintings are paintings found in Ajanta cave in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, India. These paintings date from 2nd century BCE to about 480 or 650 CE. 17. Marble Paintings Marble paintings are paintings which imitates the different colors, veins, and peculiarities of Marbles. It's one of those classic painting crafts. 18. Landscape Paintings Landscape painting is a genre and style of art painting dealing with the depiction of natural scenery. 19.
