•Annie Leibovitz is an American portrait photographer.

• in 1970, she started her career as staff photographer, working for the just launched Rolling Stone magazine.

• Leibovitz photographed The Rolling Stones in San Francisco in 1971 and 1972, and served as the concert-tour photographer for Rolling Stones Tour of the Americas '75. Her favorite photo from the tour was a photo of Mick Jagger in an elevator.

• On December 8, 1980, Leibovitz had a photo shoot with John Lennon for Rolling Stone, promising him that he would make the cover.

• In the 1980s, Leibovitz's new style of lighting and use of bold colors and poses got her a position with Vanity Fair magazine.

• Famous for her Monochrome photography.

Ellen von Unwerth (Frankfurt) is a photographer and director, specializing in erotic femininity. She worked as a fashion model for ten years herself before moving behind the camera, and now makes fashion, editorial, and advertising photographs. Ellen von Unwerth found fame when she first photographed Claudia Schiffer. Her work has been published in top magazines like Vogue, Vanity Fair, Interview, The Face, Arena, Twill, L'Uomo Vogue and I-D, and she has published several books of photography. She won first prize at the International Festival of Fashion Photography in 1991.

•Jurgen Teller is a German artist and fine-art and fashion photographer.

•Teller’s work, in books, magazines or exhibitions, is marked by his refusal to separate the commercial fashion pictures and his mostly autobiographical un-commissioned images.

• He employs a raw, overexposed style and he uses a Contax G2 camera with an onboard flash. He prefers to work in color, and regularly includes himself in his photographs.

Peter Lindbergh (born Peter Brodbeck) is a German photographer and filmmaker. 

 Peter Lindbergh moved to Paris in 1978 and started working internationally for Vogue, first the Italian, then the English, French, German, and American Vogue, later for The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Allure, and Rolling Stone. His mostly black-and-white photographs, implement a pictorial language that takes its lead from early German cinema and from the Berlin art scene of the 1920s.

• Steven Klein (born April 30, 1965, Rhode Island) is an American photographer based 

in New York.

•  After studying painting at the Rhode Island School of Design, he moved into the field of 

photography. Klein shot high-profile advertising campaigns for various clients includingCalvin 

Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga,                                                 Alexander McQueen and Nike and is a regular   contributor to magazines including American and Paris Vogue, i-D,Numéro, W and Arena.

•  Klein is well known for his W Magazine editorials with Madonna, Tom Ford, Brad Pitt and numerous others.

Tarun Khiwal (born 1965) is a noted Indian fashion and commercial photographer, based in Delhi. An engineer by education, he left his first job in 1989, and apprenticed with

photographers, Hardev Singh, Atul Kasbekar and Prabuddha Dasgupta, before starting out on his own in 1995.

One of the leading photographers in the Indian fashion industry, he was awarded the 2005 Hasselblad Masters Award, given by the Hasselblad Foundation, he is the first and only Indian recipient so far of the award. His other awards include, "Fashion Photographer of the Year Award" at the Lycra MTV Style Award and Kingfisher Fashion Photographer of the Year.

Atul Kasbekar (born 22 April 1965) is an Indian fashion photographer. He is recognised for his Kingfisher Calendar shoots. He is the brand ambassador of Carl F. Bucherer watches. Atul was also

the honorary chairman of the Photographer's Guild of India.Atul Kasbekar studied at Campion School, Mumbai, and Jai Hind College (University of

Mumbai), then he joined UDCT (nowInstitute of Chemical Technology), Mumbai for chemical engineering but he dropped out of the course after first year to become a photographer.[3] He

graduated in year 1988 from the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, US and was the topper of the batch.
