FAQs About Dumpster Rental
When you rent a dumpster from EnviroSolutions, Inc. we want to make your experience as easy and
convenient as possible. Here are answers to frequently asked questions about dumpsters and dumpster
rental.
How is the dumpster delivered? Rollaway dumpsters are transported by truck and can be dropped off at almost any location. Typically,
the dumpster will be delivered on the date of your choosing and then left until your project is done. You
can decide when the dumpster will be picked up again.
Where can I put my dumpster? In general a dumpster can be left in any driveway or parking lot, or in the street. However, many towns
require a permit to place your dumpster on the street. When you call to rent a dumpster we can advise
you on what will be needed in your area. If using a parking lot you must have permission of the lot
owner.
What can I put in the dumpster? Almost any non-hazardous materials can be disposed of by dumpster as long as you inform us of what
you plan to dispose of. Some construction debris like drywall or concrete will require us to handle the
waste disposal differently. Some materials like paint or hazardous chemicals should not be thrown in a
normal dumpster. Yard debris and heavy materials are normally fine. Regular household garbage
(MSW) is not permitted in roll-off containers. Ask us and we can let you know if there are any special
requirements for your type of debris.
Do I have to be there when you drop it off? You don’t, but we recommend being there in person so that you can advise our driver on where exactly
you want the dumpster placed. Once a dumpster is dropped off you will not be able to move it on your
own.
What size dumpster should I get? Dumpsters are available in sizes ranging from small enough for a single room clean-out to large enough
for large scale construction and renovation projects. If you’re working with a contractor, ask your
contractor to recommend a dumpster size based on their experience working on similar projects. If you
are working on your own, feel free to call us and we can give you an idea based on the nature of your
project. Bear in mind that it’s always best to get one size bigger than you think you’ll need – you will
be happy to have the extra space and not have to worry about running out!
