Here are answers to frequently asked questions about dumpsters and dumpster rental. How is the dumpster delivered? Rollaway dumpsters are transported by truck and can be dropped off at almost any location. Typically, the dumpster will be delivered on the date of your choosing and then left until your project is done. You can decide when the dumpster will be picked up again. Where can I put my dumpster? In general a dumpster can be left in any driveway or parking lot, or in the street. However, many towns require a permit to place your dumpster on the street. When you call to rent a dumpster we can advise you on what will be needed in your area. If using a parking lot you must have permission of the lot owner. What can I put in the dumpster? Almost any non-hazardous materials can be disposed of by dumpster as long as you inform us of what you plan to dispose of. Some construction debris like drywall or concrete will require us to handle the waste disposal differently. Some materials like paint or hazardous chemicals should not be thrown in a normal dumpster. Yard debris and heavy materials are normally fine. Regular household garbage (MSW) is not permitted in roll-off containers. Ask us and we can let you know if there are any special requirements for your type of debris. Do I have to be there when you drop it off? You dont, but we recommend being there in person so that you can advise our driver on where exactly you want the dumpster placed.
