FarmersMarketsYou can stock up on resh ood and localgoods at any o the many armers marketsaround the province. Producers grow, pick,make and sell a variety o quality local

ruit, vegetables, resh baked goods, homepreserves and unique cra ts. Farmers

markets bring several producers together in one location to sell theirgoods directly to consumers. Each producer has a separate stall orstand at the market.

Pre-Picked MarketStandsThese are usually roadside stands on or nearthe property o the armers. The armers pickthe produce or you and replenish the supplieswith resh produce daily. The advantage ogoing to roadside stands is that you can talkto the growers one-on-one about the way

they arm and how to get the most out o their produce. Some stands

specialize in a ew particular varieties o produce, while others have abroader range, depending on the growing conditions o each arm ormarket garden.

U-PickVegetableGardensYou can harvest your vegetableyoursel and get the pick o that U-Pick vegetable gardens. En

resh air and exercise while yoshop. You also have the opportu
