engage in a variety of activities that connect them to the origin of food systems.

Farm to School Project/OutcomesWe will measure increases in:
• Number of cafeteria meals served each month that include local products
• Diversity of local products incorporated into cafeteria meals
• Number of local producers, distributors, or food hubs that supply food to the
school
• Number of students who are actively involved in Farm to School, including
those who: take agriculture courses; assist in producing food in the
greenhouse, chicken coop, and land lab; become members of our FFA
chapter; participate in our summer program with the 4-H club; and participate
in other Farm to School activities as we implement them
• Number of students surveyed demonstrating awareness of locally produced
farm products—using a survey to be developed by the district
