Fast and Furious- Tokyo Drift

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, is a 2006 American film directed by Justin Lin, produced by Neal H. Moritz and written by Chris Morgan. It is the third film of The Fast and the Furious series, selling over 2.6 million copies a day!

In Arizona, a 17-year old high school student Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) and Clay (Zachery Ty Bryan) race their cars to win Clay's girlfriend Cindy. During a high speed turn the pair crash. Clay's affluent family sees him escape punishment, but Sean's numerous past criminal activities cause his mother to send him to be with his father in Tokyo.

At his new school, Sean meets a fellow American named Twinkie (Bow Wow), who introduces him to Tokyo's drift racing scene. Sean has a confrontation with Takashi (Brian Tee) aka DK (Drift King) – over Sean talking to DK's girlfriend Neela (Nathalie Kelley), resulting in DK challenging Sean to a race.

Personally I thought all of the actors/actresses played their characters well, especially Nathalie Kelly who is particularly convincing when she plays Sean and DK off against one another, portraying many different traits to her character as she tries to wheedle her way into the affections of both of them. But Sean is determined to have her regardless of the consequences and continues to fight for her.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone under the age of 15 to watch this film due to the beautiful, Spanish young ladies in bikini’s sprawled all over high powered, twin turbo, petrol guzzling beasts for cars. Guns, alcohol, hard parties and reckless driving are also shown throughout the film, viewer’s discretion is advised!
