Daniel Parizek has concluded his seminary formation for the foreseeable future and will no longer be pursuing a vocation to priesthood. Daniel has followed Gods call into seminary, and then into a spiritual year, into poverty immersion, into first year theology but for now God has made it clear that to continue at this time is not what the Lord is asking of him. He has done very good discernment for this decision with the help and guidance of his formators, spiritual director, rector, vocations director, Archbishop Coakley and the Holy Spirit. He is leaving in good standing. This is not unusual. God often calls men to seminary to discern their vocation. It is a very serious process and one that demands much prayer, study and reflection. Daniel has followed faithfully the journey of discernment and now awaits the next step in his Life of faith. Please pray for him during this time of transition.

Thank you Karen and Daniel Grief can be healing process and we all experience it in our own time and in our own way. We want to thank Karen for her years of faithful service alongside her beloved Dennis for which we are so grateful for his contribution of faithfulness to SJN. We also want to thank Daniel and offer our gratitude and prayers for him as he begins pursuing a new chapter in his life. May the Lord bless you both and keep you safe and grant you His peace.
