Our goal is to help young people live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. We hope to empower young people to live out their faith, to foster their spiritual and personal growth and to integrate them into the life, mission and work of our Catholic community. The program also provides an opportunity for volunteers to come share the faith and spend some time with our youth. We have lots of activities going on! Come check us out!

The Children faith formation program of St. Patrick Catholic Parish provides opportunities for children to grow in their knowledge of God and the Catholic Faith in order to prepare them to celebrate the sacraments of initiation. Our program starts preparing students in their Third to Sixth school grade, and runs as a two year program, the first is geared toward religious education and the second towards sacramental preparation. The program also provides an opportunity for volunteers to share the faith and help increase the kingdom of God.

Adult Faith Formation Director: Martin Pena | (509) 547-8841 x121 Our adult faith formation ministry at St. Patrick aims to (1) Respond the particular needs and interests of the adults in our parish. (2) Help them to form a Christian conscience and to live their lives in the world as faithful disciples of Jesus. (3) Accompany them in their spiritual journey to a mature confession of faith. “What does mature adult faith look like in those who respond generously to God’s call? The General Directory for Catechesis says that it is a living, explicit and fruitful confession of faith.” Our Heart Were Burning Within Us (#49). Our different ministries, sacramental preparation, retreats, bible study, parish celebrations, service opportunities and faith formation opportunities are some of the ways in which the parish can help adults to live their faith, explicitly confess it, and fruitfully bear a Christian life.

Next weekend, throughout the Diocese, is ACA Commitment Weekend. Our goal is $229,754 and as your pastor I ask that each parish household participate in order for our parish to reach its goal. By now you should have received the ACA materials from Bishop Daly and I ask that you respond with a generous spirit as this year a Parish Rebate Program has been implemented. Once our parish surpasses our goal, 100% of the overage is returned to us. I ask that you respond with a generous spirit. If you have not contributed in the past, please consider doing so this year and if you have contributed in the past please consider the possibility of increasing your contribution this year.

Weddings Planning a wedding? From now on, we will be offering a monthly meeting for all couples wanting to get married in the Catholic Church. It is required for all couples to participate in this meeting before scheduling a wedding date. The first Marriage Preparation meeting will be on Wednesday, September 27 at 6pm in the church. Faith Formation for Adults The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is for adults 18 years or older who want to become Catholic or if you have been baptized Catholic but need to receive the sacraments of Confirmation and Communion. Also, RCIA is for Christians baptized in different faith tradition but want to be in full communion with the Catholic Church. A Steward’s Guide to Time and Talent, and Treasure In responding to the Lord’s call to be good stewards we are invited to reflect and to pray about our response in these three areas: Time: Each week, God gives us 168 hours. “What portion of those 168 hours am I going to give back to God for all He has given to me?” Do I spend time in daily prayer? Do I pray with my family? Do I attend Sunday mass? Where else do you believe it is important for you and your family to spend time with God. Talent: God has given to each of us skills, qualities or talents. Yes, your talent could enrich the life of this parish and the community. No talent is less worthy than others. All talents are a blessing and a symbol of God presence in our lives.

Treasure: From the blessing of treasure God asks us to dedicate a portion of it to serve those in need and to strengthen our own faith community. We invite you to pray to God about what you can give back to Him. A Biblical invitation is to give back to God 10% of what he has given us. The church invites us to give back this way: 5% to charities and 5% to the church.

Cursillo de Cristiandad

Contact: Estela Lopez | (509) 302-0128 The term “Cursillo” means “short course,” and people (candidates) attend a Cursillo or retreat over a 3-day weekend. Topics are presented by both trained laity and clergy. Following the introductory weekend, “graduates” or Cursillistas, as they are now called, are encouraged to join small groups of other Cursillistas and meet ones a week throughout their lives, these meetings are call ultreyas. These small groups provide encouragement and accountability for each individual as they try to live out their Christian calling as laity. Anyone who is interested in living their curcillo is welcome to attend our weekly meeting (ultreya).

Evangelization Commission Contract: Maria Elena Ramos | (509) 547-5590 The purpose of the Evangelization committee is that God is sending us to build a culture of life which, promotes and protects the lives and dignity of all persons from conception until natural death; and improves the lives of local families through education. If you are interested in joining our committee we meet every fourth Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Office.

Guadalupanas Contact: Maria Tamez | (509) 380-0562 The purpose of the Guadalupanas Group is to help build a better family and thus create a more united Christian community proclaiming the Kingdom of God among us, putting ourselves at the service of the community.

Community Life Committee Contact: Mary Bravard | (509) 547-1157 | [email protected] The Human Formation Commission is part of the Pastoral Council whose mission is to bring people together as a faith family. Our job is to plan and carry out social events throughout the year. We work to have representatives from all of the Parish groups and other interested parishioners to work together on events. We can then support each other more fully. We put on the Parish Soup Nights, welcoming and farewell get-togethers, and other celebration events. Our Parish is large and get-togethers help to energize us as a family.

Jail Ministry Contact: Deacon Antonio Rodriguez | (509) 547-8841 x112 “I was in prison and you came to visit me…” -Matthew 25:36, "Be Not Afraid!" Jesus was incarcerated during his life, and he can still be found in the jail. Come and see for yourself. Join this ministry team! Consider assisting with this ministry for both women and men. A group of parish volunteers visits the jail every week. To be part of the ministry, the volunteers would have to fill out an application with the Department of Justice and have a background check in order to be approved.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Director: Martin Pena | (509) 547-8841 x121 The Rite of Christian Initiation is like a journey but in this journey the participants receive the faith of the Catholic Church, they reflect on it, learn to pray about it and once they have reached a maturity of the faith they have/ will receive and are ready to accepted, they are welcome into the church and the sacraments are conferred on them. This program is for all adults (18 years and older) who: Are unbaptized and would like to be received fully into the Catholic Church through Baptism, Confirmation and Communion; Have been baptized in another Christian community and seek full communion into the Catholic Church; Have been baptized Catholic as infants but have not received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. Classes are on Sunday morning from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in the conference room of the parish office.

Marriage Encounter Contact: Agustin and Blanca Zaragoza | (509) 380-3464 The Marriage Encounter Weekend is a positive and personal experience that offers couples an opportunity to learn a technique of loving communication that they can use for the rest of their lives. It is an opportunity to look deeply into their relationship as a couple and their relationship with God. It is a time to share their feelings, hopes, and dreams with each other. The emphasis of the Marriage Encounter Weekend is the communication between husband and wife, to focus only on each other. If you are looking for your relationship to grow, be more deep and rich, then you would like the difference the Marriage Encounter Weekend can make in your life.

Pre-Marriage Ministry Director: Martin Pena | (509) 547-8841 x121 The Pre-Marriage ministry of St. Patrick offers retreats to couples preparing for the Sacrament of Matrimony. The team who coordinates the retreat is made of couples who have been married in the church for a considerable time, who gladly share their experience with couples preparing to receive the sacrament of matrimony. The retreat is designed so that participating couple reflect on different family themes and the teachings of the church regarding matrimony and family. This ministry gathers on the last Tuesday of the month from 6 pm to 8 pm in the basement of the parish office. The goal of the meeting is to foster community, formation regarding the sacrament of matrimony or family life, and preparing for the future retreats.


Lector Ministry

Contact: Steve Taber | (509) 222-9687 When the two sacred scriptures are read at Mass, selected lectors are reading and explaining the word of God. God himself is actually speaking to the parishioners. Therefore, lectors take much pride in sharing the importance of the message. Lectors must be carefully prepared and comfortable speaking to a large group of people. They must speak slowly and in a loud and clear voice. Appropriate dress is required. Lectors are expected to practice the readings before Mass and arrive early for proper preparation. Lector's' typically have a partner to share the readings but need to be prepared to handle both readings if needed. Lectors have a special responsibility in being a part of the Mass celebration and a commitment is required.

We invite you to join our choirs and to follow the divine commandment by serving God and our Catholic community through this wonderful ministry. Religious Education (3rd–6th) Director: Raquel Aguilera | (509) 547-8841 x114 The Children faith formation program of St. Patrick Catholic Parish provides opportunities for children to grow in their knowledge of God and the Catholic Faith in order to prepare them to celebrate the sacraments of initiation. Our program starts preparing students in their Third to Sixth school grade and runs as a two-year program, the first is geared toward religious education and the second towards sacramental preparation. The program also provides an opportunity for volunteers to share the faith and help increase the kingdom of God.

Youth Formation (7th–12th) Director: Natali Mendoza | (509) 547-8841 x113 [email protected] Youth Group is open to those wanting to prepare for Sacraments, young ladies preparing for their Quinceañera Celebration and those coming to enrich their knowledge about their faith. Our goal is to help young people live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. We hope to empower young people to live out their faith, to foster their spiritual and personal growth and to integrate them into the life, mission, and work of our Catholic community. The program also provides an opportunity for volunteers to come and share the faith and spend some time with our youth. We have lots of activities going on! Come check us out!

We desire to live our vocation in sainthood and to lead other young adults to actively respond to the message of the gospel. To promote this we offer different activities throughout the year, for example, social gatherings, movie nights, plays, Holy hours and our annual retreat. With these activities, we foment our faith and build friendship with one another. In a community, we support each other to follow our faith and to find our vocation. We meet on Mondays at 7:00 pm in the South Rooms.

St. Patrick Catholic School

The school offers an education rooted in our Catholic faith, providing an engaging, nurturing, and diverse environment in which students have the opportunity to develop their spiritual, intellectual, and physical abilities. Teachers, administrators, support staff and parents work in collaboration to foster in students a dedication to learning, a capacity to lead and work with others, and the understanding to use their God-given gifts in service to their community.

Ministry to the Sick/Homebound Contact: Deacon Antonio Rodriguez | (509) 547-8841 x112 “…when I was sick, you visited me” — Matthew 25:36 Members of this Ministry bring Holy Communion to our parishioners who cannot make it to church due to sickness or infirmity. To be part of this Ministry you must be at least 18 years old and approved for training as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, must take the Virtus Training which entails having a background check, and must be committed to bring communion to those in need at least once a week or weekend to the hospitals, care centers, nursing homes, apartments or private homes.

Knights of Columbus Grand Knight: Jesse Garza | (509) 545-0215 In 1882, Fr Michael J McGivney and a small group of men established the Knights of Columbus. They conceived the idea of an organization of Catholic men who would band together to aid one another in times of sickness or death, to strengthen themselves and each other in the Faith, to strengthen families and family life, too be a strong pillar of support for their priests and bishops. And to be of service to the Church and the community by coming to the aid of those most in need in society they called themselves Knights of Columbus.

Perpetual Adoration Contact: Deacon Antonio Rodriguez | (509) 547-8841 x112 [email protected] Perpetual Adoration is the Eucharistic devotion whereby parishioners commit to at least one hour of adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament, both during the day and throughout the night during the week. The adorers have the responsibility to be faithful to the hour they are scheduled. The suggested norm for having Jesus exposed in the monstrance is that there should be at least two adorers present, and He must never be left alone. Could not these words of our Lord be applied today? "Indeed, this is the will of my heavenly Father, that everyone who looks upon the Son, and believes in Him, shall have eternal life. I will raise him up on the last day."

Catholic Daughters Regent: Jackie Shegrud | (509) 547-2594 The purposes of the organization are to participate in the religious, charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church. Catholic Daughters of Americas engage in creative and spiritual programs, which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents in meaningful ways that positively influence the welfare of the Church and all people throughout the world. Catholic Daughters of the Americas strive to embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.


Senior Companions

Contact: Anne Meyer | (509) 946-4645 | www.catholiccharitiesc.org The Senior Companion Program is a no-fee service through which people age 55 and older provide assistance and friendship to elderly and adult individuals who are homebound with special needs, and generally living alone. The program serves Benton, Franklin, Yakima and Walla Walla counties. By taking care of simple chores, providing transportation, and offering contact to the outside world. Senior Companions often are essential in assisting the individuals to live independently. Senior Companions usually serve 6 to 8 “friends” through 15-20 hours of service per week.

Prayer Group Rayos de Paz Contact: Isaias Martinez | (509) 460-9725 This group is made of people who have lived a renewal in their faith through an encounter with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. This group is commonly known as Charismatic (Charism, meaning, gift). This ministry offers a weekend retreat once a year known as Seminary of Life. This retreat is for people who are looking to encounter Jesus and renew their faith. This group has their prayer assembly on Fridays at 7 pm in the church. Everyone is invited from the youngest to the oldest. If you feel in your heart the desire to praise God, to encounter the risen Lord, and to build community you are invited to attend.

Secular Franciscans Contact: Pat Franz | (509) 627-0208 | www.tcfran.org The Secular Franciscan Order is an official Order of the Roman Catholic Church, founded by Saint Francis of Assisi to allow Catholic lay men and women to commit themselves to follow the Gospel according to the Rule of the Secular Franciscan Order. Our vocation to the Gospel Life is to follow Jesus Christ after the manner inspired by St Francis, living our Rule in fraternity as sisters and brothers. We meet at St. Patrick Parish, but members of all area parishes who feel called to follow the way of St. Francis are welcome.

Lourdes Auxiliary Contact: Sherry Stringer | (509) 546-2310 Lourdes Health (Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital) has been inspired by the vision, courage, and spirit of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet who come to Pasco in 1916 to open the first hospital in the region. With few resources, but with deep faith and a great desire to care for the sick of the community after the example of Jesus, dedicated physicians and concerned community members helped make the dream a reality. Lourdes is a faith-based organization, serving all persons without distinction, especially the poor and most vulnerable. Lourdes welcomes volunteers and is thankful to all men and women who help in the different areas of this ministry according to our mission: “Lourdes mission is an extension of the healing ministry of Jesus. We are called to serve our patients, their loved ones, and our co-workers with respect, compassion, and care. We respond to the health care needs of our community in a Christian spirit. We strive for excellence in all we do.” The volunteers provide different support services but no patient care. These services include; information desk, gift shop, administrative support in different departments, Lourdes foundation and commercialism, and pastoral care. St. Vincent de Paul

Contact: Marie Schultz | (509) 302-9025 St. Vincent de Paul Society is a lay organization made up of men and women in our parish whose goal is to join together in a bond of friendship, and to grow spiritually by offering service to those who are needy and suffering, in the tradition of our founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul. Our vision is to help heal the hurt of hunger and despair and be an “Open Door to Hope” to our neighbors in need. Our mission is to provide emergency services to our community’s desperate families and individuals while helping them to make positive changes in their lives.

PREPARES Contact: Syndee Sauceda | (509) 946-4645 [email protected] PREPARES sponsored by the Catholic Bishops of Washington State and open to all people, provides services to pregnant mothers, fathers, and their families from pregnancy to the child's fifth birthday. PREPARES is now in 113 parishes state-wide and has trained 760 volunteers to support families. Our hope is to develop this life and justice ministry at St. Patrick’s by focusing on recruiting volunteers to help us fill the following elements:

We are seeking Family Companions willing to be matched with a mother or father who is seeking emotional support. PREPARES staff provide training and technical assistance to parishes and volunteers.

Parish-based lead volunteers whom can help coordinate and sustain the progress of PREPARES at St. Pat's and identify additional ways the parish and parishioners can support families in the Pasco community.

At this time we are desperately seeking Bilingual folks willing to make a commitment to this ministry!

Una invitación bíblica nos pide considerar la donación del 10 por ciento de nuestro salario a Dios. La Iglesia nos pide que consideremos esta donación de esta forma: 5% para obras de caridad y otro 5% para la parroquia. Cursillo de Cristiandad

Contacto: Estela López | (509) 302-0128 Cursillo, como su nombre lo dice es un pequeño curso de la Fe Católica. A este cursillo o retiro participan candidatos invitados por cursillistas (personas que ya han vivido el cursillo). El retiro es de 3 días en un fin de semana. Los temas son presentados por laicos entrenados y también por el clero. Después del Cursillo, los graduados o los cursillistas son invitados a pertenecer a grupos pequeños con otros cursillistas en el cual se reúnen una vez por semana, el cual le llamamos ultreya. Estos pequeños grupos ofrecen apoyo y ayudan a los miembros a mantenerse firmes en su vida Cristiana. Todas las personas interesadas en vivir un cursillo son bien venidas a nuestras ultreyas.

Comisión de Evangelización Contacto: María Elena Ramos | (509) 547-5590 El propósito de la Comisión de Evangelización es que Dios nos está enviando a construir una cultura de vida, la cual promueve y protege las vidas y la dignidad de todas las personas desde la concepción hasta su muerte natural; y mejorar las vidas de nuestras familias locales atreves de la educación. Esta Comisión se reúne cada cuarto lunes del mes a las 6:30 pm en la oficina de la parroquial.

Comité de vida comunitaria Contacto: Mary Bravard | (509) 547-1157 | [email protected] La Comisión de Formación Humana es parte del Concejo Pastoral cuya misión es la de unir a las personas como una familia de fe. Nuestro trabajo es el de planificar y llevar a cabo eventos sociales durante todo el

año. Trabajamos para tener representantes de todos los grupos parroquiales y otros feligreses interesados para trabajar juntos en los eventos. Entonces podemos apoyarnos unos a otros completamente. Nosotros organizamos las Noches de Sopa, las recepciones de bienvenida y despedida, y otras celebraciones. Nuestra parroquia es grande y estas reuniones no ayudan a recargarnos de energía como familia.

Ven y ve por ti mismo. ¡Únete al equipo de este Ministerio! Los voluntarios tienen un Carisma por Cristo, y habilidad para compartir su fe en Jesús. Considera ayudar en este ministerio para hombres y mujeres. Un grupo de feligreses voluntarios visitan la cárcel cada semana. Para ser parte de este ministerio, los voluntarios deben llenar una aplicación con el Departamento de Justicia y una verificación de antecedentes para ser aprobados.

Rito de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos (RICA) Director: Martin Pena | (509) 547-8841 x121 El Rito de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos es como una jornada de fe (una peregrinación). En esta peregrinación las personas reciben la Fe de la Iglesia Católica, reflexionan sobre lo que han recibido y una vez que ellos llegan a la maduración de aceptar la Fe, los sacramentos de Iniciación son conferidos. Este programa es para los adultos (18 años y mayores) quienes: No estén bautizados y les gustaría pertenecer a la Iglesia Católica a través del bautismo, confirmación, y comunión. Han sido bautizados en otra comunidad Cristiana y están buscando la comunión completa dentro de la Iglesia Católica. Han sido bautizados católicos de niños pero aún no han recibido los sacramentos de confirmación y Eucaristía. Las clases son los domingos a la 10:30 am a las 11: 45am en el sótano de las oficinas de la parroquia.

Es una oportunidad para mirar profundamente su relación de pareja y con Dios. Es un tiempo para compartir sus sentimientos, esperanzas y sueños con el otro. El énfasis del fin de semana del Encuentro Matrimonial es en la comunicación entre esposos y esposas, para enfocarse solamente en el uno para el otro. Si están buscando que su


relación crezca, sea más profunda y rica, entonces les gustara la diferencia que puede hacer en ustedes el Fin De Semana de Encuentro Matrimonial Mundial.

Ministerio Pre-Matrimonial Director: Martin Pena | (509) 547-8841 x121 El Ministerio Pre-Matrimonial de St. Patrick ofrece a las parejas que se están preparando para el Sacramento del Matrimonio un día de retiro espiritual (cuatro retiros en el año). El retiro está diseñado para que las parejera reflexionen sobre diferentes temas de la vida de pareja y sobre las enseñanzas de la Iglesia. El retiro es preparado por parejas que ya han celebrado el sacramento del matrimonio y que con mucha alegría comparten lo que Dios les ha regalado en su Matrimonio. Este ministerio se reúne una vez al mes en el último martes de cada mes de 6pm a 8pm en el sótano de la oficina parroquial. Esta reunión es para construir comunidad, continuar nuestra formación en este ministerio y preparar los retiros.

Ministerio Lectores Contacto: Arturo Rojas | (509) 547-5922 Cuando se leen dos sagradas escrituras en la Misa, los lectores seleccionados están leyendo y explicando la Palabra de Dios. En realidad, Dios mismo está hablando a los feligreses. Por lo tanto, los lectores toman mucho orgullo en compartir la importancia del mensaje. Los lectores deben estar cuidadosamente preparados y sentirse cómodos hablando a un grupo grande de personas. Ellos deben hablar lentamente y con voz alta y clara. Se deben vestir adecuadamente. Se tiene la expectativa de que los lectores practiquen las lecturas antes de la Misa y lleguen temprano para prepararse adecuadamente. Los lectores típicamente tienen un compañero para compartir las lecturas pero, deben estar preparados para leer las dos lecturas en caso de ser necesario. Los lectores tienen una responsabilidad especial siendo parte de la celebración de la Misa y requiere de un compromiso.

Educación Religiosa (3rd–6th) Director: Raquel Aguilera | (509) 547-8841 x114 El programa de formación de fe para niños en la parroquia de San Patricio da la oportunidad a los niños de crecer en su conocimiento sobre Dios y la fe Católica la cual les ayuda a prepararse a celebrar los sacramentos de iniciación. Nuestro programa empieza a preparar a los estudiantes del tercer al sexto grado escolar y tiene un término de dos años; el primer año se enfoca en la educación de la fe y el segundo año en los sacramentos. El programa también ofrece oportunidades para voluntarios de compartir su fe y trabajar en el reino de Dios.

Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a los jóvenes a que vivan como discípulos de Jesucristo en nuestro mundo de hoy. Esperamos capacitar a los jóvenes a vivir su fe, para fomentar su crecimiento espiritual y personal e integrarlos en la vida, la misión y el trabajo de nuestra comunidad católica. Para Promover esto ofrecemos diferentes actividades durante el año, por ejemplo convivios, obras de teatro, noche de película, horas santas, y nuestro retiro anual. A través de estas actividades fomentamos nuestra fe y formamos amistad con otros jóvenes que nos acompañan a nuestra reunión. Para ser parte de este Ministerio, debe ser mayor de 18 años y estar aprobado para ser Ministro Extraordinario de Comunión, debe tomar el entrenamiento Virtus que contiene un reporte de sus antecedentes, y debe comprometerse a llevar la comunión a los que la necesiten por lo menos una vez por semana o el fin de semana a los hospitales, centros de cuidado, asilos, apartamentos u hogares.

Caballeros de Colón Gran Caballero: Jesse Garza | (509) 545-0215 En 1882, el Padre Michael J McGivney y un pequeño grupo de hombres establecieron los Caballeros de Colón. Concibieron la idea de una organización de hombres Católicos que se unieran para ayudarse unos a otros en tiempos de enfermedad o de muerte. Para fortalecerse ellos mismos y unos a otros en la Fe. Para fortalecer a las familias y la vida familiar. Para ser un fuerte pilar de apoyo para sus sacerdotes y obispos. Para servir a la Iglesia y a la comunidad al ir a ayudar a los más necesitados en la sociedad. Se llamaron a sí mismos Caballeros de Colón.

Adoración Perpetua Contacto: Diácono Antonio Rodríguez | (509) 547-8841 x112 La Adoración Perpetua es una devoción Eucarística mediante la cual los feligreses se comprometen a por lo menos una hora por semana de Adoración ante el Santísimo Sacramento, el cual está expuesto todo el día y toda la noche, durante la semana. Los adoradores tienen la responsabilidad de ser fieles a la hora que están comprometidos. La norma sugerida para tener a Jesús expuesto en la custodia es que deben estar por lo menos dos adoradores presentes, y nunca se debe dejar solo. ¿No podrían aplicar estas palabras de nuestro Señor hoy en día? "De hecho, esta es la voluntad de mi Padre celestial, que todo aquel que ve al Hijo, y cree en Él, tendrá vida eterna. Yo lo resucitaré en el último día.”

El programa sirve a los condados de Benton, Franklin, Yakima y Walla Walla. Mediante el cuidado de simples tareas, proporcionando transportación, y ofreciendo contacto con el mundo exterior. Los Compañeros de Ancianos a menudo son esenciales para ayudar a que las personas vivan independientemente. Los Compañeros de Ancianos usualmente sirven de 6 a 8 “amigos” a través de 15-20 horas de servicio por semana.

Este grupo es comúnmente conocido como Carismático (carisma, significa don o regalo). Lourdes Auxiliary Contacto: Sherry Stringer | (509) 546-2310 Lourdes Salud (Hospital Nuestra Señora de Lourdes) se ha inspirado por la visión, el coraje y el espíritu de las Hermanas de San José de Corondelet que vinieron a Pasco en 1916 para abrir el primer hospital de la región. Con pocos recursos, pero con una fe profunda y un gran deseo de cuidar a los enfermos de la comunidad, a ejemplo de Jesús, dedicados médicos y miembros interesados de la comunidad ayudaron a hacer el sueño una realidad. Lourdes es una organización basada en la fe, sirviendo a todas las personas sin distinción, especialmente a los pobres y más vulnerables. Lourdes da la bienvenida a los voluntarios y está agradecido con las mujeres y hombres que nos ayudan en diversas áreas de nuestro ministerio y de acuerdo con nuestra misión:

PREPARES está ahora en 113 parroquias al nivel estatal y ha entrenado a 760 voluntarios para apoyar a las familias. Nuestra esperanza es poder desarrollar este ministerio de vida y justicia en San Patricio enfocándonos en reclutar voluntarios para ayudarnos a llevar a cabo los siguientes elementos: Estamos buscando Compañeros Familiares que estén dispuestos a apoyar a una madre o padre que está buscando apoyo emocional. El personal de PREPARES proveerá entrenamiento y asistencia técnica a las parroquias y voluntarios.
