• Bus service plan developed from Transit Development Plan (TDP)
• Goal: Increase transit ridership and encourage use of Silver Line by providing transit service to new Metrorail stations in Tysons and Reston
• Plan recommends:– Addition of 12 new Fairfax Connector routes (Tysons,
McLean, Reston)– Enhancement/Realignment: Modification of 21 routes – Elimination: Six routes recommended for elimination

• In Reston and Herndon routes that currently serve West Falls Church will be truncated at the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station.
• In McLean and Vienna new routes are implemented and existing routes modified to serve Metrorail stations.
