The Quan�ta�ve informa�on available for managerial decision making has increased manifold in recent years. However this informa�on has to be mined and combined to derive meaningful informa�on for decision making. Effec�ve knowledge crea�on leading to innova�ve insight is essen�al for today’s business. Quan�ta�ve research is a vanguard in management educa�on and fresh knowledge and updated issues should be developed from �me to �me on management issues.

For undergoing high quality research one requires to collect, interpret and logically document the informa�on. Selec�on of an appropriate sta�s�cal tool, as a decision making tool ,is o�en a difficult task without proper understanding of the theore�cal concept and meaningful interpreta�on. Thus the decision makers should be made versed with research methodology and the core philosophy of sta�s�cs.

The art of drawing coherent conclusions, supported by appropriate research tools and reference cita�on is vital for quality research work. The recent innova�ons in sta�s�cal applica�ons, availability of sta�s�cal so�ware allow scholars and researchers to test more complex, mul�level and dynamic models.

JIM in its constant endeavor to improve management skills has ini�ated this movement to improve the quality of research.

Analy�cal Tools” has been scheduled keeping in view the need among academicians, researchers and consultants to strengthen their research skills. The present programme is designed in such a way so as to give exposure to the par�cipants about research problems formula�on, applica�on of appropriate research design and skills of data genera�on, data processing and sta�s�cal analysis at both basic and advanced level.

The course content has been designed to provide a thorough understanding of various aspect of Advance Research Methodology and Data Analy�cal Tools that ensures a common thread linking all the research methods on the anvil in the programme.
